In the Mediterranean Sea, at Latitude: 35.25N - Longitude 25.20E, lies the island of Thera, or Santorini which it is also known by in Europe. 3600 years ago it's volcano erupted in one of the greatest catastrophic events in human history. A tidal wave 200 meters tall swept over the Mediterranean coastlines, and volcanic ash fell over the entire world affecting the global climate enough to be visible in the year rings of the giant Californian redwood trees.

It was on this island, many believe, that the city of ATLANTIS once flourished.
